Turn It Into Mulch

Here's how it works:

STEP 1 - Buy yard waste stickers.

Purchase yard waste stickers at the Communitas Supportive Care Society office (#103-2776 Bourquin Crescent West). Stickers are currently $3.00 each.

STEP 2 - Put the stickers on your bags of yard waste.

Put your new yard waste stickers on the bags of yard waste you want us to haul away.

STEP 3 - Fill out and submit this form:

STEP 4 - Have your bags of yard waste at the curb by 9:00 A.M. on the Thursday you selected in the form.

That's it! You're ready to go.

 

 
 

TURN-IT-INTO-MULCH will pick up leaves, grass clippings, weeds and other yard waste for you. This service is perfect for those without the means or the time to haul their yard waste to the compost yard on Valley Road.


Please note that you must put one sticker on each regular-sized garbage bag of yard waste (approximately 26 x 36 inches) and two stickers on each oversized bag of yard waste (e.g. large clear or orange leaf bags). We will also pick up small bundles of branches as long as you attach a sticker. Any material that is missing stickers will not be picked up.

During the Christmas holidays, we will also pick-up Xmas trees for $10 (or 3 stickers).
